Overview
- Provides a small size, easy to use HDTV USB 3.0 compliant video capture solution
- Video data is uncompressed, 4:2:2 YUV format
- The module receives digital video signals at the input and sends UVC (USB Video Class) compliant data packets containing digital video payload to a connected host computer
- Behaves always as Super Speed USB 3.0 device (Host or OTG operation modes are not supported)
- Host computer must run a UVC capable operating system (e.g. Microsoft Windows 7)
- Parallel up- and downstream of control and status data is possible
- The input supports multiplexed LVDS based video data
- LVDS data format provided by FCB-EH, FCB-SE and FCB-H11 camera blocks
- Full USB bus powered camera solution possible
- Different interface standards are supported from the transmitter side including DVI/HDMI, VGA, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SDI, CVBS and USB
- The modules connect to the digital video interface of Sony’s FCB-H, FCB-EH and FCB-EX block cameras and support several progressive and interlace HDTV or SDTV formats
The iShot® TL 6030 USB 3.0 module provide communication with SONY FCB HD camera blocks to PC Systems with a USB 3.0 connection. The advantage of USB 3.0 is the the high databandwith supports uncompressed high quality HD video transmission. The compact interface board with USB 3.0 enables the design of small camera systems that need only a single connection between camera and PC. Video stream, control data and power will be connected by a USB 3.0 cable. For camera blocks that need more than 900 mA during startup a Y-cable is required.
The TL 6030 board provides a small size, easy to use HDTV USB 3.0 compliant video streaming capture solution. Video data is uncompressed, 4:2:2 YUV format. The module receives digital video signals at the input and sends UVC (USB Video Class) compliant data. Our modules behaves always as Super Speed USB 3.0 device. Host or OTG operation modes are currently not supported. the host computer must run a UVC capable operationg systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8). Our module supports camera control and is providing a vitual com port.
The module can be connected to LVDS data provided by Sony FCB-EH, FCB-SE and FCB-H11 camera blocks.
